I’m Valeria Londoño, I’m from Colombia and I’ve been studying in Am language for almost 3 months. I chose this school because one friend of my father studied here so he recommended it to me.
When I arrived I started in pre intermediate level, but now I am in intermediate with an excellent tecaher, her name is Simone, I really love her classes I find them really fun and interesting because she uses different methods to teach us, we don’t use just the book, she gives us lot of copies with great information and exercises, we’ve been learning lot of vocabulary and phrase adverbs, that is really useful because with it we can improve our speaking too, we also discuss a lot during the class and it’s really nice, I really enjoy it. Now my main problem is listening, because sometimes it’s difficult for me to understand all the audios because they speak so fast and with a British accent.
I haven’t gone to many school activities because I have to work and I don’t have too much time for it, but the few that I have gone, have been nice.
My most memorable experience here have been the trip to blue grotto because the view there is amazing, the water is so clear, you can enjoy the sea, go on a boat ride and take really nice pictures.
Finally my advice for those who want to learn and improve their English is trying to speak a lot and use English in your daily life, watching series, and listening to music in English is a good way too.,
