Rosa Galimzyanova, Russia, February 2021
Back to the blog list

Hello, my name is Rosa Galimzyanova and I am from Siberia. I have been staying in Malta for almost one year; I chose this school last year when I was already in Malta. Before choosing AM Language, I attended the test in five schools. I chose it according to reviews and price.
I started from Pre-intermediate and now I am in Upper-intermediate, I am proud of myself because I got 6 point in Ielts test to enter in the university in Malta.
I have studied with almost all the teachers and I am still amazed at how different and interesting their teaching methods are. I enjoy when teachers corrects our mistakes because we can express ourselves clearly.
For me the most challenging was passing exams, because it was hard; I spent a lot of time for improve my mistakes.
In my opinion, the most important thing is that you need to believe in yourself and very important is also listening other students, that is the clue. I have learned a lot about the traditions of the different countries. Now If I go to a new country, I will definitely feel at home, because I have other people’s points of view.
The most memorable experience in Malta was having lifeguard training on the beach and spending the night under the sky. Also I enjoyed Netflix at lockdown times with my friends! It was a very good time.
My advice is to study English at home straight after the lesson or surround yourself with English speaking people. Don’t be shy with your mistakes! My second advice is to enjoy the English language. Come to Malta to learn!
