Daria, Ukraine, May 2022
Back to the blog list

Hello, everyone! My name is Daria and I’m from Ukraine. I have been in Malta since October 2021 and it is one of the most exciting journeys of my life!

My dream to visit Malta to improve my English was formed once I finished high school, but I’ve faced a lot of obstacles on my way. And now, after 5 years of dreaming, I’ve finally made it.

To choose AM Language was the greatest decision that my lovely agents had helped me to make! Thanks to Katya and Ira from @Malta_4_you agency, they are the best! But of course, we chose this school because of the hundreds of good feedbacks, attractive activity program, perfect locations in the heart of Sliema city centre, which is 10 min to the sea sight, and a bunch of accommodation options for every choice.

In October, I took my first two weeks in AM language with the most energetic and optimistic teacher in the World – Mandy, and I will never forget this experience, knowledge, and good vibes she shared with students.

In December, I had an opportunity to take an internship at school to work as an airport representative with a leisure department. During 5 months of my work and study, I’ve met people from all over the world. That is an unforgettable feeling when you are the first to meet a student, who arrived from the opposite side of the world, to observe his impressions, explain some rules and help with transport!

Malta is a perfect place to meet people, and make new friends while you enjoy sunny weather, discover the islands with breathtaking views, and see sights!

My time at school has flown, I started in the Upper-intermediate class and finished in the Advanced class with Sandro, thanks to him for his efforts in lesson preparations and modern teaching methods! But the most important thing I gained, while I had been studying on the tiny Malta island is that our World is bigger than we can even imagine, we just need to believe and move towards achieving our dreams!

I want to say a big Thank You to everyone at school, whoever taught me, worked, or shared the classroom with meĀ  – without you, this time wouldn’t be so memorable!
