Hello everybody, my name is Charles-Antoine but everybody calls me Charles ?. I come from Vosges, a region mountainous east of France. I arrived by chance in Malta, looking for a solution to improve my English for personal satisfaction and for work. My level when I arrived was very low, Beginner.
I obtained an ERASMUS student grant of 3 months in Malta. I arrived to this splendid island, accommodated in a great host family and in a internship in a company of Valletta (Malted 5D), I had the opportunity to do one week of lessons at the school am Language Studio with Lesley, who is a very nice teacher.
During this week I met leader’s great team, Marta, Wiviane, Fatih, Joy, Amparo, Sacha and Joyce who tempted me tinparticipating in the activities. So I was able to meet people of almost everywhere in the world, I liked this mix of personalities and culture, I learnt a lot and I improved my level of English by discussing with the students. The activities also allowed me to visit the amazing island of Malta, I´ve ended up loving here, I recommend Malta to all my friends.
Concerning my internship, I was welcomed by a great tutor and I fast became integrated into the team, tdiscussing with tourists of all around the world allowed me to improved my English, now I feel more comfortable speaking in English.
In conclusion, I can say that living in complete immersion in Malta is a great solution to learn English and a great adventure not to be missed. When I am going to return in France, what I´m going to miss me most it is all the people that I met, the sun and this amazing landscape. Next time, when I return to Malta will be on holiday or maybe to be a leader to AM Language ?. Thank you very much for these 3 amazing months.
