Advice for Learners

Learning English is difficult – there is no denying that fact. But it can be enjoyable and rewarding too – you need to be prepared to work hard, let yourself go a little bit, and sink fully not only into the language, but also the culture of this wonderful language. Take a breath, be brave and switch yourself on to English!
My Favourite Place in Malta
This island was called the “Jewel of the Mediterranean” during the days of the British Empire. It still is a jewel, albeit with more buildings, cars and people since the days of empire. My favourite place on the island is the small village of Dingli, with its famous and dramatic coastal landscape and cliffs. Watching an autumnal sunset there will be like nothing you’ve ever seen before. Don’t forget to take a bottle or two of wine, and someone to share it with you.
