Hi, My name is Minato and I’m from Japan. I’ve studied at AM Language for 4 months now. I chose AM Language because of the teachers, and because I heard there were few Japanese students here. This really suits me because I’m here to learn English and that way I don’t “risk” speaking Japanese if there are many Students from my nation here.
I started at pre-intermediate level but was quickly able to move up to intermediate. I really like Philip, my teacher, as he has a very good approach to teaching English but he’s also very kind and funny. I really enjoy practising and talking with my fellow classmates. We’re also doing leisure activities from time to time like swimming, which is very fun and offers a relaxed way to use and practise your English! My most memorable experience in Malta was visiting Gozo. It was really beautiful and awesome to explore!
I’m taking a lot of unforgettable memories with me back to Japan. I still have a few months here which I’m really looking forward to! I’m sure it will be just as memorable as the time I have already spent here.
