The Point
The Point, also known as Tigne Point and Dragut Point, is an excellent place to find an array of shops. You can find both mainstream and up market designer shops, as well as cafes and restaurants. As Black Friday will be busy, we suggest going earlier on in the day, and it’s best to avoid the large crowds between 4.00pm and 7.00pm.
Valletta
By far the prettiest place to go shopping on the island, Valletta has a good range of shops and cafes. The shops blend in nicely with the charming architecture, and one’s shopping experience can be most enjoyable. If you’re going shopping during the day, this might be the best place to go, although you should expect to see plenty of people.
Bay Street
Although relatively small, Bay Street has a decent range of shops. Situated near Paceville, Bay Street is surrounded by food outlets, and is usually full of people. One of the perks of the place is that you can find a variety of shops for all ages and tastes.
Sliema
Brace yourself for the mass of people. There are a decent number of shops, but you should expect to see a lot of people, and this can make shopping a bit difficult. You are likely to see long queues, and if you decide to shop late in the day, don’t be surprised if you don’t find what you’re looking for in your size. Having said all that, Sliema is one of the best shopping areas on the island and it’s a good idea to get there early.
