Personal Profile:
Hana has a master’s degree in Media and Communication and of course, is a fully qualified TEFL teacher. She has been teaching on and off for the last 12 years; working overseas for a private language school in Bratislava before moving on to freelance teaching in international companies and private language schools all around Slovakia. She also taught English at a public high school. Her mother is also an English teacher- so teaching runs in the family. Finally, she came to Malta, fell in love (with the country and a man) and never looked back.
My advice to Language Learners:
To keep it short and sweet- push yourself to read, speak and ask lots of questions. Don’t ever be afraid to ask anything- it’s the only way to learn. Go abroad, and most importantly, BELIEVE IN YOURSELF! The sky is the limit, so reach for the sky!
Favourite place to visit In Malta:
No idea! Seriously – there are so many beautiful places to see on the island I can’t really choose one. You cannot come to Malta and not visit Valletta with its historical monuments and cool little bars and cafes. Mdina, Blue Grotto, Gozo and Comino are also a must… But if you really need to find me on a chilled Saturday afternoon you will most probably find me at the beach, soaking up the sun, reading a book and sipping a Margarita
