Come October, lots of exciting things are happening at am Language Studio. We are very proud to introduce two new courses aimed at persons who wish to gain a qualification to be able to teach English as a foreign language.
am Language Studio, in collaboration with TETRA have come together to provide both TEFL and TELT to anyone that wishes to expand their qualifications and future career prospects.
These courses are specifically aimed at native speakers of English or foreigners who have a proficient command of the English language and wish to teach within the EFL industry.
Back in 2004, when I obtained my TEFL certification on a whim, I
would have never dreamt of the opportunities that it would open up for me. There is no better feeling than helping students reach their potential, their aims and watching them succeed in their goals.
Something about the TEFL certification course:
The TEFL certification course provides our candidates with more than just the basic knowledge required to successfully teach English as a Foreign Language. Our ever evolving programme combines instruction with hands-on experience to empower you with the tools and abilities that will allow you to thrive in today’s EFL classroom.
By keeping our finger on the pulse we have adapted our course to reflect the ever changing demands of the industry. Over the years learners have become more target oriented, more academically focused and more specific with regard to their needs. This notion has helped shape our TEFL certification courses in a way that provides the candidate with an individual, personalised experience that allows you to evolve into the role of the teacher by focusing on your own strengths.
Something about the TELT Preparation course:
The ELT Council has designed its own proficiency examination for would-be ELT teachers in order to provide them with the minimum language proficiency certification. This examination is upgraded on a regular basis.
At TETRA we provide you with the knowledge and practice that is required to succeed in obtaining the grade you deserve. We take an analytical approach to the various sections of the test whilst providing you with sufficient practice under examination conditions. We take the stress out of taking tests.
The next TELT session (written part) will be held on the 12 November 2016. Application are open from 3rd October till 14th October at the Exams Department, The Mall, Floriana.
Oral sessions will be held on 15-16 December 2016.
