am Fam Trip 2017
Back to the blog list

On Thursday 6th April 2017 we were honoured to welcome our agents of 10 different nationalities at the Maltese International Airport. The agents were then driven to the beautiful 5* Le Meridien Hotel Sliema, where they would start their 4 day Fam Trip with am language Studio.

We started off with a welcome meeting to get familiar with one –another in the Le Meridien Hotel foyer. The agents were then left to adventure around our Sliema, the residential and commercial area which is a centre for shopping, dining, and café life surrounded by blue waters.

On Friday 7th April all agents got together for a full buffet breakfast and made their way to am Language Studio. A full show around of our teenage school – Sacred Heart school, adult school – am language Studio main building, and also a detailed show around of our apartments which was provided by our am staff. A light snack was then served early afternoon.

In the evening all agents accompanied by am staff, were taken to a unique, traditional Maltese restaurant, Ta Marija situated in Mosta, which has multiple historical places such as the Victoria Lines and medieval chapels.  Here, the agents got a taste of our traditional Maltese dishes including Miżet tal-Laħam, Ġobon u Ħxejjex which Is a traditional Maltese platter and also Fenek Moqli fl-Inbid u t-Tewm which is traditional Maltese rabbit cooked in wine, including many more

On Saturday 8th April a tour bus with all agents accompanied by am staff were driven to the Maltese Capital city Valletta, which contains buildings from the 16th century onwards, built during the rule of the Order of St. John. Here they were given a full detailed tour of Malta’s history whilst looking at our amazing views from the Upper Barrakka. Afterwards all agents walked down to the ‘Malta Experience’ and had a whip through 7000 years of Maltese History.

In the evening all agents accompanied with am staff were taken to Mdina, also known by its titles Città Vecchia or Città Notabile, which served as the island’s capital from antiquity to the medieval period. Here a tour was given of the silent city. Dinner was also provided.

On the 9th April our Fam Trip came to an end and we said all our goodbyes. It was a truly wonderful experience getting to know all of the agents and we look forward to our future cooperation!
